PIANO ROSSO

From a natural terrace, Pianorosso looks over a suggestive panorama of woods and sky to which the remains of an ancient castle give it a historic appeal. In the large garden, in the shadow of century-old oak trees, in the calmness interrupted by the sounds of children at play, the wind on the skin delicately blows away the smoke an poisons that metropolitan life unloads upon us every day. From the newly restored eighteenth century mansion,independent apartments have been obtained for whomever desires a tranquil stay on the Florentine hills of the Mugello, in the green Tuscan valley. The house is surrounded by a garden equipped with pool, a children's playground, table tennis, barbecue, tables and reclining chairs. In harmony with the typical atmosphere of the Tuscan Bed and Breakfasts, all the rooms are furnished in rustic-style. In October, during the annual Chestnut Fair, it's possible to participate in the chestnut harvest and the tasting of the typical chestnut-based products. The farm produces: Blackberry, chestnut, rose hip, and green tomato preserves.
